Whenever you join a Wi-Fi network on Mac, it automatically connects to it the next time. If you don't want to rejoin that Wi-Fi, forgetting and rejoining the network should help.
Click the Wi-Fi icon in your Mac's menu bar → Select Network Preferences.
Select Wi-Fi on the left → click Advanced at the bottom right.
Go to Wi-Fi tab and select the Wi-Fi network you want to forget.
Now, click the remove button (–) → Remove (if prompted) → Ok.
Now, click Apply to save changes. Your Mac will now forget Wi-Fi network. To rejoin, simply enter the password.
