Apple products that’ll soon switch to USB-C port

Apple has gradually added USB-C ports to its devices instead of its proprietary ports.  There are rumors that more Apple products and accessories will switch to USB-C ports soon.

It is widely speculated by reputed analysts, including Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo, that Apple will finally bid goodbye to the Lightning port and add a USB-C port to the iPhone 15 in 2023.

10th gen iPad

Apple has already added the USB-C port to its entire iPad lineup except for the entry-level iPad. According to rumors, Apple will release the 10th-generation iPad with a USB-C port this September.

AirPods

AirPods & AirPods Pro currently feature a Lightning port on their charging case. However, this might change in 2023 as Apple is expected to bring a USB-C port to the accessory alongside iPhone 15.

MagSafe Battery Pack

As per Ming-Chi Kuo, MagSafe Battery Pack is another accessory that might soon get a USB-C port. Apple is expected to add a USB-C port to MagSafe Battery Pack sometime in 2023.

Magic Keyboard, Trackpad & Mouse

Apple’s Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse currently use a Lightning port for charging. However, the three accessories are speculated to launch with a USB-C port in the future.
