It’s exciting to speculate about the symbolism behind the logo and what Apple has in store for us. Let’s get into the details!
What to expect from Apple’s September 14 event?
We’re placing our bets on the iPhone 13 series, expected to have four models, just like the iPhone 12.
The September 14 event will also mark the official public release of iOS 15, which brings exciting new features like Focus Mode, a revamped Safari, and more. Of course, alongside iOS 15, we will get iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey.
Other upcoming Apple products that we can expect at the California Streaming event include the Apple Watch 7 and the latest generation of AirPods.
While we wait, let’s join the hype with these stunning California Streaming event wallpapers, courtesy of 9to5Mac.
‘California Streaming’ AR effect
In the meantime, Apple’s given us something fun to do. As expected, there’s a hidden meaning in Apple’s September event logo.
On your iPhone, go to the California Streaming event page and tap the glowing Apple logo in the graphic.
This will launch the iOS ARKit viewer using your iPhone’s camera. Follow the on-screen instructions to move your device around to calibrate it.
You will then see the AR Apple logo appear over your surroundings within the camera. Have fun moving it around and use the camera button to capture some screenshots. To make it extra special, zoom in to virtually enter right into the lake featured in the graphic! Pretty cool!
Well, that’s sure to keep us occupied while we wait for California Streaming! The emphasis on AR may also indicate some cool AR features coming to the next iPhone, similar to those we saw on the latest iPad Pro.
