    How to hide alerts in Messages app on iPhone

    It’s frustrating when your iPhone keeps buzzing, especially when the conversation isn’t important or timely. By disabling notifications for that conversation, you can get rid of the annoying notifications or banners of incoming messages. In this post, I’ll demonstrate how to hide alerts in the Messages app on your iPhone.

    How to hide message alerts from specific chats using iMessage

    1. Launch the Messages app on your iPhone → Open a conversation.
    2. Tap on the Profile icon.
    3. Toggle on Hide Alerts → Choose Done.

      Select the message, tap on the Profile icon, toggle on Hide Alerts, and choose Done

    Additionally, you can also go to Messages → Slide the message from left to right → Tap on the bell icon.

    Turn off notifications for mentions

    Further, you can choose not to receive alerts when someone mentions you in any chat.
