Step #1. Launch WhatsApp on your device → Tap on the Chats tab if it’s not already selected.
Step #2. Next, open a conversation and tap and hold the mic button.
Step #3. Now, slide up on the padlock UI element along the right-hand side of the chat window to lock the recording.
Step #4. Once you have recorded the message, hit the send button to send the message.
