Sharing photos or videos to your friends or loved ones in Instagram on iPhone is an absolute fun. Unlike other social sites, Instagram provides you efficient tools to customize your photos as desired. Your creation is liked, commented and appreciated by many people.
However, there are certain personal photos which people want to share only with their close friends and not everyone else. Supposing you have a nice friend on Instagram to whom you want to send some private photos, how would you send them?
Instagram lets you send direct photos or videos to your friends. However, there are some limitations to it–
- You can send photos to maximum 15 people at once
- The sent photos can’t be shared through Instagram on other social sites such as, Facebook andTwitter
- You can neither tag people nor use hashtags with them
All these limitations don’t matter if you want your stuffs to remain private, do they?
How to Send Private Photos or Videos in Instagram On iPhone
Step #1. Launch Instagram app.
Step #2. Tap on the Camera icon from the bottom.
Step #3. Now, capture a photo or choose one from Camera Roll. (If you want to select a photo from Camera Roll, then select it and tap on Next from the top right corner.)
Step #4. If you want to give the photo a better look, edit it as per your wish and then tap on Next again from the top right corner.
Step #5. Tap on Direct under Share to.
Step #6. Select the person you want to send the photo from the Following list and write a caption.
Step #7. Tap on Send from the bottom.
That’s done!
One thing is to remember, you can send direct photos to even those who don’t follow you. They will receive a request which can be accepted or declined.
