How to set Siri to read incoming messages in another language in iOS 17.4
If you are someone who receives messages in multiple languages, this new Siri feature will be handy. You can ask Siri to read out your messages while you are busy working.
But first, you need to enable the feature from iPhone Settings. Here’s how it is done:
- Open Settings → Head to Siri & Search.
- Scroll down and pick Messaging with Siri under the Ask Siri section.
- Now, tap Add Language → Choose an option from the available list.
- Wait for the language to download. Interestingly, you can select multiple languages, one after the other.
- Once the download is complete, you can tap the Language and optionally choose an option from the Variety and Voice options.
How to remove a language from Messaging with Siri on iPhone
There may come an instance when you no longer want Siri to read incoming messages in a different or particular foreign language. In that case, removing a language is pretty straightforward.
- Go to Settings → Siri & Search → Messaging with Siri.
- Now, swipe left on the Language you want to remove.
- Tap Delete.
