Apple released the first Mac in 1984, and since then, it has released several Mac models. And some Mac devices are famous for their outstanding design.

Apple Macintosh 128K

Apple Macintosh 128K, outed in 1984, is still revered as the most iconic Mac ever released. It had a Motorola 58000 microprocessor, a 9-inch CRT and no internal mechanical storage.

iMac G3

The see-through iMac G3, released in 1998, was known for its eye-catchy color and received regular updates for three years until it remained in the market.

MacBook Air (1st Gen)

To date, MacBook Air remains a classic Mac device. The first-gen MacBook Air was unveiled in 2008 as the world’s thinnest notebook, and Apple has maintained the legacy till now.

Powermac G4 Cube

It was designed by the former Apple design engineer Jony Ive and received several awards for its unique cube design. Its one unit is put on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

iBook G3 “ClamShell”

Announced in 1999 by Steve Jobs, this was a hybrid of the iMac and the PowerBook. iBook G3 ClamShell was best known for its unique shape, bright color options and case handle.

Mac Pro

Popularly known as the cheesegrater Mac Pro, this Mac design was a high point in Mac’s history.  It was designed so for cooling and to make it accessible for repairs and replacements.
